I try to buy the same five-item basket at every shop: main line, fluorocarbon leader, jig heads, soft bait and a hard bait. When an exact item is unavailable, I choose the closest substitute and explain the difference. I use my own money and have every completed order shipped to southern Italy. I record product prices, shipping costs, delivery speed, customer service and packaging, then check what actually arrived. There are no affiliate deals, free samples or sponsored placements. Each review is one of three things: a completed order (scored out of 5), a long purchasing history built over several years of orders, or a shop where the basket could not be completed — those stay unscored.
