Tackle4all Review: 20+ Orders, Fast Shipping and a Generalist Catalogue
Tackle4all was one of the first European shops I used when I started building my light spinning setup. Over the years I placed more than 20 orders with them. They are fast, they run genuine discounts, and the gear always arrived new — but as my fishing narrowed into lighter and lighter tackle, I started finding their specialist selection less complete than the shops I use today.

This is not a single-basket review. Because I shopped at Tackle4all repeatedly, the list below is representative of the gear I bought from them during my early light-spinning years:

At the time, Major Craft was my reference brand: affordable, widely available and easy to understand. Tackle4all stocked almost everything I needed from them. The problem only appeared later, when I started looking for more specialised Japanese brands for true light rock fishing.
The website and selection
The site is a straightforward catalogue shop. Search works, categories are clear, and product pages usually have the basic specs and stock status. For Major Craft, Daiwa and a few other mainstream brands, the range is broad and well stocked.
For my current LRF needs, the specialist Japanese selection is limited compared with the shops I use today. Brands like TICT, Gosen's finer sizes, and other Japanese LRF-specific lines and lures are either missing or represented by only a handful of items. That is fine if you are building a generalist light spinning kit; it is frustrating if you have already moved past Major Craft and want the next level of refinement.
Prices
Prices are fair and often become very good once the discounts kick in. I learned to wait for their seasonal promotions — Easter in particular — when the savings were genuine and worth planning around. Compared with the shops I review today, Tackle4all is not the cheapest on every item, but it is rarely expensive for what it sells.
The value proposition changes when you compare like-for-like with specialist LRF shops. A Major Craft jighead at Tackle4all may look cheap, but if the hook quality forces you to replace it sooner, the real cost changes. That is less a criticism of Tackle4all and more a sign that their catalogue is aimed at a different angler than the one I have become.

Delivery to southern Italy was consistently fast across all my orders. Tracking was provided and worked, and the parcels were well packed. One order out of more than 20 arrived with a problem — a small blemish, quickly resolved — which is a respectable record.
Free shipping starts at €250 within the EU zone. The €250 threshold is relatively high for small restocking orders, but it is easier to reach when buying a rod, reel and several lures together. For small restocking orders, the shipping cost is reasonable for Cyprus-to-Italy.
Customer service
I rarely needed to contact support, which is usually a good sign. On the one occasion something was wrong, the response was professional and the issue was sorted without drama. Communication is in English and was clear enough for a cross-border order.
The gear
Everything I received from Tackle4all was new, genuine and properly packaged. The Major Craft line, reels and lures I bought there served me well while I was learning. Today I would not buy the same items because my standards have shifted — I want lighter, more specialised tackle — but that is evolution on my side, not a failure on theirs.
The one product note worth repeating: the Major Craft Jigpara Head Swim jigheads had hooks that felt soft compared with the TICT and MegaBass heads I use now. For general spinning they are fine; for hard, rocky LRF sessions they are not my first choice anymore.
